Mel Gibson got defensive during an interview with KTLA-Los Angeles news reporter Sam Rubin.

Rubin asked Gibson if his absence from the big screen for almost eight years had anything to do with the the anti-Semitic remarks the actor made following a drunk driving arrest in 2006.

Gibson's arrest report, which has since been expunged, stated that "Gibson yelled out, 'The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world,'" and asked the arresting officer, "Are you a Jew?"

While refusing to admit he even made such remarks, Gibson asked Rubin, who is Jewish, "Do you have a dog in this fight?"
